What do AP science students do after the AP test? LHS Science Teachers Merribeth Gregory and Bucky Demel say, "go on a biodiversity and geology exploration hike of Caprock Canyon State Park." They saw bison, snakes, and tons of Prairie Lizards. They found many insects and received lectures by Reed and Riley. They had discussions about how the Native Americans had planted plum thickets throughout the canyons and grapes and gained an experience of a lifetime. Four kiddos and Mr. Demel officially receive the amazing hiker's award as they made it to Fern Cave with a grand total of 10.5 miles under their belts; the rest of the kids did 6.5 miles.
