Drama, drama, drama!

Do you ever get tired of drama? Well you won't get tired of this kind of drama! LMS 5th-graders in Mr. Randol's Classes have been studying drama this week. They combined their time spent with the Spanish novel Don Quixote and their knowledge of dramas into theatrical performances. The students used the fictional story of Don Quixote as a script. They were asked to choose a specific scene or event to reenact. Since the story of Don Quixote has had several adaptations, the students were allowed some creative liberty in reenacting their specific scenes. The students could use the many aspects of drama when exploring how they would write the script for their particular reenactment. They enjoyed putting on the performances for their classmates!
